In the blink of an eye...we're back! We hope the 22/23 school year is off to a good start and you are settling back into the rhythm of the fall schedule. In the first week of school, the OPT hosted the Uniform Store at the Meet & Greet on 8/29 as well as the Welcome Back Coffee in the OPT House on Friday, 9/2. It was a pleasure to meet so many of you in-person and put a face with a name!

The second week of September brings us a new event, Lunch on the Lawn (days times vary be grade level), where you get the opportunity to eat lunch with your student and their class outside on the OPT Lawn. Use this opportunity to meet the other students and families in your child's class. The week comes to a close with an adventure to Seattle with Evergreen Day at the Ballpark on Sunday, 9/11 at T-Mobile Park - we are 150 Eagles strong. Go M's!

In the third week, we will all have the opportunity to meet our students' teachers at the Curriculum Nights (K-2 on 9/13 and 3-5 on 9/14.) The Uniform Store will be open and is packed with gently used uniform clothes - all for the bargain price of $5/item. We will end the week with another new event, Family Movie Night on Friday, 9/16! Your OPT is working hard to bring in a couple of food trucks and the Ice Cream truck will be available for purchases from 6-7 PM. Movie starts at 7, dress warm and bring blankets and pillows for lounging.

The month of September will come to a close with a Skating Party at Lynnwood Bown & Skate on Friday, 9/23. This Evergreen families only event will take place from 5 - 7 PM. Get ready to roll - all family members welcome and encouraged to put on skates and hit the rink with their students!

We wish you a wonderful September and are crossing our fingers for dry weather as we March into Fall. If you make it out to one of our (many) OPT hosted events, please say hello, we would love to meet you!
