Help us celebrate, honor and support 45 years of Evergreen Academy Elementary where, from the beginning, families have been working together with teachers and staff to build a strong sense of community and enrich our children’s education. Our Organization of Parents and Teachers (OPT) is proud to offer a robust program - but can only do so with the generous support of our community.

In hopes of making this year's fundraising efforts inclusive for all, the OPT will be hosting an online auction featuring fabulous, themed baskets, an all-school art piece, highly coveted teacher & staff experiences, and beautiful student portraits. To cap off the week long online auction, we will host an in-person Parents' Night Out event where those who are comfortable gathering can meet up with other members of the Evergreen community for entertainment, games, hor d’oerves, beverages and great conversation!

We thank you in advance for your generous support of Evergreen Academy & the OPT!

WHY FUNDRAISE?

Like you, we love Evergreen Academy and want to see our school thrive! As a not-for-profit organization, fundraising supports our ongoing efforts to create an educational experience second to none by:

  • Creating an accessible and inclusive learning community that benefits all families and students

  • Building community and creating relationships and connections that extend well beyond our time at Evergreen

  • Providing opportunities for students, families and staff to gather, virtually and in-person

  • Enhancing and supporting our robust classroom curriculums

  • Supporting our teachers and staff through classroom allowances and grants

  • Creating and spreading JOY and kindness throughout our community inside and outside of campus

ABOUT THE OPT

OPT History: The Organization of Parents & Teachers was created in an effort to build a strong sense of community among all Evergreen families by working together with Evergreen Academy’s teachers and staff to enrich our children’s education. All members of the Evergreen Academy community are members of the OPT!

Fun Fact! Evergreen Academy, originally named Montessori House, was founded in 1977 by Krista McKee. The OPT House was the home of Krista and family until the home was sold to Evergreen Academy's parent company in 2018. The house is used by OPT to gather as a community, store materials and houses the Uniform Store.
